It still looks quite green in the foreground – may just be evergreens. That whiteness of the snow covered mountains makes a wonderful contrast.
You’re right – it is still green here where we are. We’re at 450m above sea level and it’s still quite autumnal – even some russet leaves still clinging to the trees but the high mountains are really nicely coated in snow now. Nice to look at, but I’m happier not being in it, truth be told!
Wow that’s really impressive. I’ve only ever seen something like that once when I looked at the Atlas mountains on holiday
